We were introduced to hard-surface modeling in Maya. We were taught how to make a table and apply texture to it. Since I am a cinema4D and blender user.I used cinema4D instead. We all have different goals and skills.I am more of a motion graphic designer so learning renders skill is quite important for the job.
I was learning photoreal car paint render with octane render. The key to making it looks more real is good lighting which needs a nice HDR plus octane daylight. When it comes to car paint(3SS), gloss, transparency, reflection, and bump are the essential nodes to edit.
